What does it look like for our UK churches to be actively involved in reaching the nations for Christ?
Our churches come in all sorts of different shapes and sizes. Many church leaders feel like they’re spinning more ministry plates than they can handle. Cross-cultural mission can easily feel like a ministry too far.
We invite you to join other church leaders and mission practitioners to use this day conference to give thought and prayer to your church’s role in taking the gospel to the nations.
This conference will explore the fundamentals:
What is the biblical vision for the church’s role in reaching the nations?
What does that mean for the 21st Century UK and world situations?
What will we do?
Our main talks, from Steve Timmis of The Crowded House, Sheffield, and Acts 29 church planting network, will open up the Bible to seek God’s voice to shape our vision of the task before us.
4 practical seminars will give us opportunity to explore different dimensions of local church engagement in global mission, discussing and sharing experience and resources.
We’re delighted to have a range of mission agencies represented at the conference. We are absolutely committed to building fruitful partnerships between local churches and agencies. There will be time for you to engage with these groups.
For the third year, 10ofthose will be providing a bookstall full of resources to serve you and your church in your walk with God in world mission.
