One of the most important steps in developing our world mission vision in our churches is to be able to take a step back and ask: ‘where are we?’
Like assessing and developing any ministry in our churches, the ability to see clearly what we’ve done already, what needs doing, and when to do it helps immensely in moving forward.
How can we get some perspective on our world mission vision?
A resource I’ve found helpful in considering our work at The Globe Church is the Sending Church Elements from the Upstream Collective. This is a helpful step by step framework for considering what it might mean to be a church that raises up and sends cross-cultural workers.
The beauty of this is that no matter what stage your church is at this is a grid through which to ask ‘what’s next?’
